With 650kms of piste and endless Off-piste terrain Morzine and Les Gets are part of the worlds largest single board and ski area and all accessible through one interconnecting lift system, linking 12 ski stations. Morzine and Les Gets have excellent snow records, this partly due to their proximity to Lake Geneva and the fact that they are the most northern resorts in France resulting in better snow records than most other French resorts which sit higher. Snow cover is usually from November and lasts long into May. Should there be a shortage of snow on the lower slopes at anytime of the season, then snow making machines will take care of this, leaving a guaranteed ski.
Free ride & off-piste terrain The area being so extensive has the terrain to suit all abilities from long and easy tree lined blue runs to the more challenging reds and blacks. Off-piste boarding and skiing is easy to find, with natural bowls of untracked powder located beside the lifts for the inexperienced, whilst whole valleys await the experienced (see ‘Guiding’ for more information on off-piste)
